OK ladies. Was this morning tough or what?! Just getting out of bed was a struuuugle! I am so honored to have this special time with each of you. Try to hit the pavement daily even if it's only for 10 minutes. A little is better than nothing! Stay focused on your personal goal and do your best to stay positive. Staying positive is tough even for perky, ole me! That's my goal this week. To keep those evil, ugly, yucky thoughts out of my mind!
Shelley and Sia and I were talking about these Amy's meals this morning. Just thought I'd share. I love all of the Enchilada and Burrito meals. I've never tried one of the burrito's in the little bags. Wal Mart is the place to buy this stuff because it's expensive at Teeter.

Thanks for sharing the "Amy's" info. I appreciate all the new ideas. Man, was I drenched this am! It felt great starting the week in such a positive way! Yay for excellent self care!
Planning to read, "women, food, and God" from our recommended reading list tonight.
Hi everybody! Yesterday's workout was great even if it was a bit steamy. I have already been to the beach walking this morning and at least there was a breeze. I have a mental block about starting the diary...the online thing is not appealing and pen is repelling notebook paper...don't know what that is about.
Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow!
PS--Love the blog design!
Laura,
I found this app on the blackberry app website. I don't know if using your blackberry is any more appealing than pen and paper but at least it's another option!

Ouch Ouch! Shelly and I hit the pavement bright and early this morning! I am now pilfering through “old” meds looking for narcotics from Ryan’s wisdom teeth being pulled 6 months ago. I officially HURT; BUT I love it! I may need to arrive an hour early tomorrow to start limping, I mean walking.
So, the online food and exercise journal is the bomb! It is 1:13pm and I have been informed that I have 30 calories remaining for the day!!! Woohoo! Guess a gyro at foodcourt wasn't the wisest choice! Oh well! One foot in front of the other as Ghandi says! ;)
Shelley,
I love this post! Although it kinda sucks isn't it cool to be learning where our calorie goals should be! Sounds like ice chips may be a good snack. JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
xoxoxo,

I just adore this blog, you gals, and your comments!!!
As of right now its 5pm and Im exhausted! I have another hour left of Sambuca then I teach pilates for an hour. My plan is to then cycle to the gym and work out, but as the minutes pass so does my energy levels. Im going to do it anyways so I just have to SIU (suck it up). Ive been over my calorie intake the past couple days, but today I seem to be doing pretty good.
This may or may not help or apply, but when Im doing an exercise and I find it challenging I just give myself little goals. Like if Im running (or Ill say, walking, since we are anti running now) and I want to give up I'll just tell myself, just go to that stop sign, just 20 seconds longer, just till after this song is over, ect... It usually helps keep me going and motivated. I feel like even if it hurts (in a good way not a sprained ankle kind of a way) we just gotta push through it. Just like in pilates foot work on the reformer, that last inch in is the most important. Lets not rush it! When I was training with my brother (for those of you who don't know he's a personal trainer in town) Id want to give up so badly while lifting weights and he would always make me do at least three more because THATS when you see the benefits. We have to get out of our comfort zones and challenge ourselves.
Well, thats what always repeats in my mind when Im ready to give up.
I highly enjoyed Monday's get-together. And I even enjoyed the sweating! Look forward to seeing you guys tomorrow morning at the crack!
