Getting ready for the weekend!

Good morning friends!  Shelley, love your post!  Everyone remember that we are all works in progress.  Expecting perfection on day/week/weekend(ahhh) 1 is not realistic but in our minds we expect perfection of ourselves.  Habits (good or bad) are hard to break.  Consider taking this experiment hour by hour, or minute by minute.  Just because you don't do as well as you hoped before noon DOES NOT MEAN THE DAY IS SHOT!  Stay positive and regroup the next hour.  I believe in all of us.  No matter what your goal is stay focused on being positive and not letting the records in your mind that make you sad play over and over in your mind.  (If that didn't make sense, be grateful!  I have records in my mind that tell me I'm not good enough, trying hard enough, strong enough, etc.)  As I re-read this post I realize it is 100% type A rambling.  Please share with the group if you have a different reaction to changing your habits.

I also want to share that yesterday I was whipped!  I should start my period (TMI) tomorrow and I am always exhausted a day or two before I start.  Anyhoooooo, I got my hiney outside to walk and only made it one lap around the neighborhood, BUT it kept me from eating the remainder of chocolate chips (the only chocolate in the house) in the pantry.  Plus according to tap and track I burned 100 cal.  Better than the alternative.

XOXOXOXO,

C

P.S. For Laura: Tap and Track is the name of the I Phone App

Just like in the movie, "what about bob?", Im taking 'Baby Steps'. I haven't eaten any healthier since this started (which will eventually be one of my goals)but I have eaten less (sorta). Its kinda sad/funny how my favorite part of the tap and track app is when you do any sort of exercise and log it in, it takes away calories, so in my head that means i can eat more-which i like. Instead of going for round two of a snack I just hold off because I can't spare those calories.

Im excited about this weekend because I can cycle around the neighborhood and do tiny laps/circles in the pool my roomie just bought. It only has a 15 foot radius, so its pretty tiny, but you can still work up a little sweat swimming circles. And plus it makes everyone at my house laugh when I tell them to get out of my swimming lane. (I'll do anything for a laugh)...Well, everyone keep up the good work, see you at the crack on monday!!!

I am enjoying the posts! I logged my food and exercise today! I need to go to bed now , though, so i don't exceed the recommended allotment! ;)....which may help with the other goal of walking at sunrise!!
